Leslie Mugan, Senior Director of Content Development and Programs
In her role, Ms. Mugan is responsible for managing all department resources and for creating and implementing work plans, schedules, and budgets to support the fulfillment of content-related deliverables, as well as for the oversight of the program management team.
Ms. Mugan has over fifteen years in assessment-related fields, including serving as Program Manager for Louisiana’s EAGLE and EOC assessments from 2006−2007. She spent seven years in Product Development at CTB/McGraw-Hill, and eight years at the National Education Goals Panel in Washington, D.C. There, she helped develop recommendations for making state standards and assessments better understood by the public.
Ms. Mugan holds an M.S. in Public Management and Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
